Miniature Circuit Breakers MCB's RCBO’s To be B, C or D
"B Type" Not Very Suitable - This type of MCB is used for purely resistive loads, or loads with a very small inductive component. ( Trip current 3 -5 times)
That rules out just a so much of our Advance Technical Age Devices. (Only use if stuck for (Volt drop) Distance is increased for smaller cables watch out for E.F.L is not exceeded ( EFL Earth Fault Return also nuisance tripping is extremely likely) Lighting non inductive, general purpose outlets.
"C Type" Most suitable- This type of MCB is used for loads with moderate inductive componrnts ie low -HP motors and specific types of lighting (Trip current 5 - 10 times Medium to high cable sizes)
Air conditioning, residential & commercial pumps, fans, lights which use ballasts and inductive components.
"D type" Industrial Designs for very high inductive components ( Trip time 10 - 20 times Large cable sizes)
Large induction motors transformers, X-Ray Equipment, Welding Equipment
